Newhay Farm Feeds - 01/11/2003

A dual installation has just been commissioned at Newhey Farm to process feeds on one line and Haylage on the other. The first system is designed to mix, feed, weigh and bag feed material for the equestrian market direct into plastic bags, the baled material is compressed to reduce storage and transport cost. The feed machinery will process and bag up to approx. 180 bales per hour direct into 20 kg bales.

The second line will open large baled haylage and weigh and pack into 20 kg bales ready for onsale. this system will Open, weigh and compact into 20 kg bales at a rate of approx. 100 bales per hour.
